Blog of our second trip to Kenya. I'm gunning for pics or dead animals and poverty contrasted against the luxury afforded to the first world people.

Mara
After another early start we had a 4 hour drive to Keekorok hotel for two nights. Right inside the Mara with the animals. Baboons and hippos wandering around. At night they escorted you from the main building to your rooms just in case. There were no animals this time but I'm sure the guys knew how to use those spears...
Safari was ok, not as good as last time so not as many pictures (some of you will be relieved), we did see a pride of lions with their buffalo kill ripping it to pieces, removing the head was a particularly nice scene. Lots of photos of that!
Nearly got stuck in the mud twice, but the trusty land cruiser got us out after some vigorous forward reverse left, right action. The smell of a squeeling engine was nice.
Maasai market yesterday which is a mans worst nightmare, we spent far too much money damn women.
Today is army BBQ, hopefully the weather will hold, been overcast and raining recently.
